Ovation Systems Micro-Viewlock II is an ultra-compact version of Viewlock II, the leading video encryption system for securing law enforcement microwave video surveillance links from interception.
Micro-Viewlock II consists of a package of only 67 x 32 x 10 mm (or a PCB of 50 x 30 mm). It has been designed for highly covert applications, such as body-worn video surveillance, or for integration within other video transmission equipment.
Even though it is such a small package, Micro-Viewlock II retains the all the key features that have made the standard system so successful. These include dynamic line cut and rotate video scrambling and outstanding in-service characteristics such as fast lock-in time and excellent resilience to multi-path and noise interference. It is even possible to download secondary keys, together with other configuration data, via the system’s serial data port adapter.

Ovation Systems Gemini, is an advanced video multiplexer system that allows up to 4 independent video channels to be transported over a single link. By effectively quadrupling the number of cameras over a standard video connection, Gemini can dramatically save hardware and installation costs.
Gemini is compatible with any real-time PAL or NTSC video link, whether coax, fibre-optic or wireless. The Gemini encoder automatically configures itself to the number of active cameras connected, switching on each video field, ensuring the best possible picture update rate at all times. The decoder provides 4 independent video outputs, together with picture-in-picture options allowing several cameras to be monitored on one or a combination of two screens.
Gemini is ideally suited for expanding the capacity of RF & microwave wireless links as it performs well in difficult reception conditions and also makes best use of the limited number of RF frequencies available. Ovation Systems Hindsight is a dedicated video recorder, the system is small and highly reliable. This means quick start recording and the ability to avoid system crashes, ensuring vital "footage" is not lost. This feature is especially important in mobile, event and long term unattended recording where reliability is of paramount importance.
Efficient wavelet compression means extended record times whilst maintaining excellent video quality. With an 18 GByte drive Hindsight can record over 6.5 hours of video at quality comparable to standard VHS machines. With wavelet, VHS quality video equates to a compression ratio of around 30 to 1, a much better figure than JPEG systems. In time-lapse mode, potentially several weeks of video may be recorded before disk overwriting takes place.
Ovation Systems DelayLine is a simple and cost-effective video delay system. DelayLine can be used in many applications where a constantly rewriting video store is required. Example applications range from storing video whilst a VCR powers-up, to action replay of sports or CCTV events.
DelayLine can also be used to upgrade a standard VCR to offer pre-event recording. This advanced feature, normally associated with costly digital recording systems, offers the advantage of capturing the complete event of interest rather than a second or two after the trigger!
DelayLine operates by utilising large banks of memory to provide video delay with only a negligible loss in quality. Various DelayLine models are available offering delays from 1 second to over 1 minute. For flexibility, the amount of delay is user adjustable in 1/16 steps. The system consists of a small DC powered unit that is very simple to install and operate.
DoubleView is a simple to install screen splitter that combines two totally independent video sources togther into one single output.
Specifically designed for surveillance monitoring applications, installing DoubleView ensures nothing is left to chance. Unlike less sophisticated screen splitters, DoubleView uses advanced digital video scaling so the complete image from two sources can be simultaneously viewed. The two pictures may be displayed either side by side or above each other as required. Picture in picture modes (PIP) are also provided. Furthermore, the system will operate with almost any video source, PAL or NTSC, Colour or monochrome, with or without camera gen-lock. You will not miss any of the action as system provides excellent picture quality togther with the added bonus of a full realtime update rate for both channels.
