The
Astrata
Group designs and
develops advanced location-based IT services and solutions (telematics)
that combine GPS positioning, wireless communications (satellite or
terrestrial) and geographical information technology. These solutions
enable businesses and institutions to monitor, trace and control the
movement and status of machinery, vehicles, personnel or other assets.
Astrata has designed, developed, manufactured and currently supports
ten generations of telematics systems with thousands of units deployed
worldwide.

Astrata’s Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) Astrata’s
RDU is a state of the art module, which allows for self-contained,
battery
operated tracking units to be fixed to moving assets in a matter of
seconds.
Using secure magnetic mounts and anti-tamper sensors the RDU is
available for
all rapid tracking requirements.
The
RDU is based around the Astrata GLP allowing users the full use of all
hardware
features within a self contained unit. Assets can then be monitored
moving
along expected routes, moving in and out of zones, all without the need
for complex
installations. The RDU can easily be swapped between vehicles and is an
effective tool for numerous applications including Customs and Excise,
or other
scenarios where different assets need to be monitored for a limited
period of
time
Astrata´s Geo-Location System (GLS) Astrata’s GLS system is a complete Client/Server-based
Fleet Management System (FMS), which has been designed for managing
large fleets in a high security control centre environment supporting
multiple clients seamlessly from a single central installation.
SRI
International is a global independent research and development
organization
that
is committed to the discovery and application
of science and technology for knowledge, commerce, prosperity and
peace. SRI
International has a history of innovating some of the most important
technical
solutions that we use in our everyday lives, some examples are: the
computer
mouse, HDTV, Electronic banking etc.
With
SRI International’s new system, The Aware
Mobile Mesh Solution (AMMS) and
its accompanying Integrated Video
Environment (IVE), they bring proven technologies, developed
through its
work for the U.S military, to the commercial marketplace. AMMS offers a
comprehensive solution that not only “meshes” various networks and
provides an
ad hoc network on the fly, but it is also the only mesh system within
the
industry that has a user interface designed for law enforcement and
security
professionals. The system is optimized for encrypted video
and data
transfer over wireless links where bandwidth degradation occurs in
real-world
environments. Other user features include GPS tracking, mapping, Voice
Over
Internet Protocol (VoIP), whiteboarding, frame capture, and instant
messaging
with attached files.
The
Aware Mobile Mesh Solution includes
three different parts that completes the system.
These parts are: Aware Application, Portable Mesh Exchange, and System
Management Center.
Aware Application
– The interface that brings it all together. The Computer
software application that is used in Aware Mobile Mesh solution.
Features:
Real-time multicast
Video
Web Support
Mapping & GPS
Location tracking
Whiteboarding
Multimedia Instant
messaging (IM)
Data Logging
Portable Mesh Exchange (PMX)
– The box that bridges networks. PMX is the unit that connects the
users in the Aware Mobile Mesh System and it also works as a gateway.
Features:
Connection for
surveillance camera
Built-in GPS
For fixed or mobile
configurations
Simultaneous dual radio
configuration, customer specific 802.11a/b/g
Rugged IP6X / NEMA 6
unit
WPA2 with AES
encryption för wireless security and SSL VPN with AES encryption for
file transfer
Video support and
Multicasting
System Management Center (SMC) – The tool to get you
going. The Aware Management System that controls all the connected
units in the MESH-network.
Features:
Create groups,
add/remove units or users
Create policies and
permissions for users/groups
Integrated Video Environment (IVE)
is an accompanying product to the Aware Mobile Mesh System. IVE is a
software and hardware solution for managing large scale, distributed
video and data systems in a comprehensive, user friendly, 3D
environment. The system networks multiple, independent sites and users
can simultaneously view, record and playback live or stored video. IVE
is developed with the latest 3D visualization technology and is
customized for every project. The system is designed as an information
"pull" system, rather than the traditional information "push" system,
which allows commanders to manage the event, and not be overloaded with
technology. IVE can simultaneously handle up to 512 video streams and
can fit into a 16U rack, which is less than three feet high.
Features:
Non-Proprietary,
standards based video system
Works together with
Aware Mobile Mesh solution
Handles multiple video
sources in high resolution
Can be connected to
existing infrastructure
Complete overview of
cameras and sensors in a 3D environment.
Available in two
versions, for 100 cameras or 512 cameras.
Multiple clients can
simultaneously access the same video
The use of electronic security and
video surveillance, in particular,
has recently increased significantly. The problem is that the more
sensors and cameras you use in monitoring, the more difficult it
becomes to get an accurate and reliable content analysis of the video
surveillance. The solution to this problem comes from Foxstream, which
is a leading supplier of software for intelligent video surveillance.
The company has developed the product FoxVigi, which is a complete
system solution for video analysis, control and mobile visualization.
The software can help you detect a variety of objects and is a
guarantee of a more robust and secure system of video surveillance.
FoxVigi is an integrated software that contains several innovative and
automated video analysis modules, which you can teach to alert at a
specific behavior. These video analysis modules are:
Reliable outdoor intrusion
detection
Wrong way detection
Left object detection
Fall detection
Automatic incident detection
Motion object identification
Object tracking
Crossing zone detection
Behaviour analysis
Individual/Vehicle counting
Crowd density detection
Automatic license plate
recognition
This type of modules can then be used
for many purposes and in a large number of situations, a sample is:
Urban security
Exit / Entry control
Restricted access area
control
Crowd monitoring
Administrative building
surveillance
Parking lot surveillance
Sensitive site
security
Surveillance of vulnerable
sites (Airport, prisons)
Site access control
In and out going flow control
